My hair used to fall out in clumps but my gran introduced me to a £4 hack that helped me get the best locks of my life
A WOMAN who struggled with thinning hair for years has revealed how she got the best locks of her life with on simple trick.
Mila Magnani, a wellness influencer who lives in France, confessed that her tresses would fall out in huge clumps before she was introduced to the £4 miracle product by her grandma.
Although she tried loads of different tips and tricks to try and grow her hair, only one of them stood out from the crowd – a shampoo brush.
“I took omega 3s, spearmint tea, and ate healthy fats on a low glycemic diet,” she explained.
But it was using a shampoo brush that made the most noticeable difference.
“And this tip, believe it or not, my grandmother taught me it, and she credits this for being the reason why she did not lose one single hair when she went through chemotherapy twice,” the hair guru added.
The hair tool works by increasing blood flow to your head by massaging, and you don’t need any other pricey products to use it with either.
Mila’s hair started thinning due to PCOS, (polycystic ovarian syndrome) an hormonal imbalance that impacts as many as five million women, and thyroid issues.
But none of the recommended methods, like expensive vitamins and even the viral trend of using oil on your scalp gave her the results she wanted.
You can buy a shampoo brush for as little as £4 from places like Amazon, but they’re also available in shops including Boots and Superdrug.
To use a shampoo brush simply rub it gently in circular motions over your scalp – you can do this with wet hair in the shower, or when your hair is dry.
And if you really want to increase the blood flow, some hair gurus recommend flipping your head upside down for a few minutes while you massage your scalp.
Previously, a haircare fan also shared her two top tips for health hair, and she agreed massaging your scalp is a must.
Ally (@hairgrowthbff) explained: “This is going to help because your hair actually thrives off the oxygen in your blood.
“So stimulating that blood flow will help stimulate healthy hair growth,” she explained.
Her second tip? Drink plenty of water.
“It’s also going to help with the blood circulation, which is going to help stimulate healthy hair growth,” she said.
“And overall, drinking water is good for you,” she added.
