‘He’s making it way too obvious’ moan The Traitors fans as they slam contestant’s huge blunder
THE Traitors fans think that Paul Gorton is ‘making it way too obvious’ that he’s a chosen traitor.
The highly-anticipated second series of the BBC show returned to our screens this week – and it’s already got viewers hooked.
At the start of the week host Claudia Winkleman, 51 picked who she wanted to be a traitor in the game – Paul, Harry Clark and Ash Bibi.
The trio have to successfully keep their chosen identity a secret from the others if they want to win the hefty cash prize.
Many have taken to X to share how they think that Paul is making it “too obvious”.
One said: “How can they not think Paul is not a traitor. It is so obvious. #thetraitors.”
Paul thinks he’s smarter than he actually is… that will be his downfall,” another wrote.
A third chimed in: “can’t believe no one picked up on it but paul did the MOST traitorous act by “doing the right thing” and fessing up that his group had the shield – if he hadn’t, all nine would have effectively had immunity which would have been rubbish for the traitors.”
A fourth added: “Catching up on Episode 2 and Paul is way, WAY too obvious as a Traitor. He might as well wear a neon sign around his neck that says “I am a Traitor”. If he makes to the final few I will be amazed.”
It comes after others demanded that he should be axed from the show after he got too excited about his role as a villain.
After being told they were traitors, they recruited Miles Asteri to help them.
They then killed off Aubrey for being too observant – and Paul gave a little speech about how fun it was to make the call.
He grinned: “I killed Aubrey, which felt lovely. The nice ones, you get a sweet taste. Like really rich chocolate.”
The Manchester lad also revealed his game plan.
Paul added: “My whole thought process is perfecting walking in for breakfast.
“Just got to manage the ‘thought I was going to die, I’ve not died, really happy to see everyone’. I’m tempted to maybe do a watery eye.”
