‘Grab two of everything’ shopper says as she shows off the mega bargains at The Company Shop including 35p chicken kievs
IT’S nowhere near as well known as Tesco, Asda or Aldi.
But there’s one discount grocery store that people are becoming more aware of, thanks to their truly incredible bargain prices.
Lottie is a regular customer at the Company Shop, and took to TikTok to share a video of her trip around her local store.
She kicked off with a pack of pork pieces, which were 75 per cent off the marked price, followed by chicken kievs.
The kievs, which came in packs of two, were just 70p a pack – meaning that one costs just 35p.
Lottie began the theme for the shop as she picked up two packs of kievs, before nabbing two packs of 85p Philadelphia cream cheese, two packs of £1 chocolate yoghurts and two packs of 60p Rolo yoghurts.
She picked up two coconut protein snacks for 30p each, a pack of chocolate mousse for 50p and a huge 900g of chocolate custard for just £1.50.
“Can you tell there’s a theme in the house, getting chocolate yoghurts and chocolate custard?” Lottie joked.
She then moved on to the next meat section, picking up a half price joint of gammon – reduced to £2.23.
The bacon was 90p a pack so she grabbed four of those, as well as some smoked salmon for £3.
There was also turkey mince for a bargain 43p a pack, but Lottie noted that she doesn’t eat that.
“They’re doing the Nando’s Sweet Chilli Jam for £1.65,” she said, before also getting a 35p bag of tomatoes and a pack of five popping candy cake bars for 10p.
In the aftermath of Christmas, there were some cute chocolate figures – polar bears and elves – for 75p each, with Lottie picking up some of them.
The peanuts were 40p so Lottie, of course, got two of those, as well as getting six packs of cake decorations that had been slashed to 10p a box.
She got two packs of bagels, which were 50p each, alongside a 10p bag of salad and a 30p pack of oranges.
They had coffee in stock – strong Espresso or smooth Decaf – for £1.35 each, and even had some cleaning products in the form of the Star Drops Disinfectant spray which was just 90p.
“I know I’m probably going to get rinsed for this but tinned spaghetti bolognaise for the kids, 50p,” Lottie laughed, before also grabbing a 90p bottle of oyster sauce.
Onto the freezer section, and Lottie picked up a kilogram pack of fish fingers for just £2.75, while some “gorgeous” Chiquito Peri Peri fries were £1.50.
In total, Lottie’s entire food shop came to an amazing £32.03.
“A whole pack of Bacon for 90 pence?” Lottie captioned the video.
“Yes please!!! Big savings yesterday during my weekly Company Shop visit.”
“Is it all gone best sell buy?” one person asked in the comments.
To which Lottie replied: “No, it is all still in date. Some of it was the same day but I just freeze it.”
“They had chicken wings today 37p but they flew off the shelf before the women finished,” another wrote.
“This is how much food should cost everywhere!” a third grumbled.
“Shops like sainsbury’s and tesco are extortionate.”
