Bosses see the light, let’s hope politicians don’t mess this up, says Tim Newark

British factory bosses are feeling much more optimistic about industry in the UK, says a new report by Make UK and PwC. Certainly better than in the failing EU. A 53% majority of senior manufacturing executives now say Britain is more competitive than it was a year ago. Recent tax cuts finally indicate a more business-friendly environment, enabling international investors to claim full expenses and reduce tax bills.
