'Ludacris demands': Trump trounced online after accidental rapper shout-out
Social media has a message for Donald Trump: don’t make this about Ludacris.
The former president did exactly that Tuesday when he took to Truth Social to repeat accusations of corruption against the New York Attorney General spearheading his now $370-million civil fraud case.
The title of his video rant: “Even my Political Opponents Have Spoken Against the Ludacris Demands of NYS AG Tish James”
Of course, as Rep. Jared Moscowitz (D-FL) was quick to point out, ludicrous is the adjective synonymous with ridiculous; Ludacris is a rap legend also known as Chris Bridges.
“@Ludacris,” Moscowitz messaged the artist on X, “he forgot to tag you.”
Ludacris did not reply to Moscowitz, but as a vocal advocate for Black voter rights in Georgia and against police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death, he criticized Trump’s administration in 2020.

“I feel like all the Trump administration is causing more dissension instead of unity,” he told CNN at the time.
Social media users were a little less restrained in their answers: the laughing-crying emoji featured heavily.
“What is Luda demanding?” demanded Good to Go Joe.
“Did I miss a new album drop?” asked Brennan Spencer.
“He’s got woes with different criminal code,” observed Alex Stuart.
“Safe to say this one wasn't written by Dan Scavino,” added Dave Craveiro.
“#LudacrisDemands,” wrote Alexander Marks Tuesday. “Not to be confused with…shake your moneymaker.”
