After weeks of speculation and discussions, Tottenham Hotspur look like they have finally landed their first signing of the January transfer window, after Fabrizio Romano announced his famous ‘Here we go’ on the Radu Dragusin deal.
For a long time now, we have known that Tottenham’s top priority for the winter window would be to acquire a new centre-back, with Radu Dragusin highlighted as a key target (Telegraph).
Fabrizio Romano has covered the story around Dragusin’s move to Spurs every step of the way, originally reporting that the Lilywhites had agreed personal terms with the player and that Postecoglou himself had approved the move.

On Tuesday, Romano stated the transfer would be confirmed ‘very soon’ but stopped short of delivering those three words we have all been waiting for as Bayern Munich attempted to hijack the deal.
Now, we have the closest thing to an official announcement, as Romano has given the transfer his trademark ‘Here we go’ seal of approval.
Romano revealed that Dragusin has chosen Spurs over Bayern Munich, with the Lilywhites improving their €30m bid overnight. Djed Spence will also join Genoa on loan to sweeten the deal.
Radu Dragusin to Tottenham, here we go! Agreement reached on package in excess of €30m after new bid overnight.

Dragusin wanted Spurs and confirmed their agreement on personal terms despite Bayern bid.
It really does feel good to have our biggest area of weakness fixed so early in the transfer window, and I am very excited to see what Radu Dragusin can do in the Premier League. He’s shown himself to be a top talent in Italy, and we all know what happened the last time we signed a Serie A centre-half.
