UK Police probe Post Office for accusing over 700 managers of theft
LONDON, UK: On January 5, the Metropolitan Police force said it is investigating "potential fraud offenses arising out of these prosecutions" related to money the Post Office received "as a result of prosecutions or civil actions" against accused postal workers.
The statement relates to a miscarriage of justice that saw hundreds of postmasters wrongfully accused of stealing money, due to a faulty computer system
