ITV boss reveals Love Island All Stars cast’s secret hook-ups days before series kicks off
LOVE Island All Stars is kicking off within days – but some of the cast have already secretly hooked up.
Fans are in for a shock as sparks are already flying between the randy singletons.
The spin-off of the ITV2 reality dating series will see past contestants return to the villa for a second chance of love.
Love Island executive producer Mike Spencer told The Sun: “Some of the stories I’ve heard about who’s got with who that hasn’t been in the press and very secret… I was like, ‘oh my God!’ They will all come out.
“There are hook-ups within this OG cast that noone knows about and we want all that to come out to play. It will all play out.
“And there are bombshells coming in that may have stories to tell too that will shake things up.”
The TV boss also thinks there’s every chance a throuple could emerge and that the show’s format will not stand in the way.
Mike exclusively told The Sun: “We won’t say no to a throuple. We’ll see what happens.
“I mean it would test the format a little bit.
“We’d have to switch it up, but I think it works as it is.”
A throuple is a romantic relationship involving three people.
When asked what he thinks about the fix rows and allegations that producers favour certain Islanders, he replied: “It’s absolutely not true.”
“I don’t know how we can fix it really.
“I think the chat is the chat. They are doing that everyday.
“The public vote is the public vote.”
The popular dating show has aired 10 successful series since it was revived in 2015.
Before that, there was a celebrity version, which aired for two series in 2005 and 2006.
This year a line-up of past favourite Islanders are coming together for a second time in a bid to find love.
The Sun exclusively revealed that the likes of Georgia Steel, Mitch Taylor and Hannah Elizabeth are taking part.
Host Maya Jama will also be returning to the South African villa to present the spin-off.
