French midfielder Agoume joins Sevilla on loan

MADRID, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- La Liga struggler Sevilla has strengthened its squad with the loan signing of French midfielder Lucien Agoume until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent in June.

Agoume will help to cover for the loss of Nemanja Gudelj after the club confirmed on Tuesday that Gudelj will need an operation after tearing the meniscus ligament in his left knee.
