I’m a stepmom to two boys at 20 – I love my life but trolls say it’s ‘weird’ that I’m only five years older than my son
A 20-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed her relationship with an older man, paying no mind to critics.
She said she loves her life, but is often trolled for being just five years older than her stepson.
Ellie Liptrot (@elli3liptrot) filmed herself recounting her daily life in a video on TikTok.
“Spend a day with me as a 20-year-old stepmom of two,” she said.
“So this morning we had a lazy morning, decided to put some washing on before I headed to the gym for the first time since November,” she said.
She filmed herself with her better half, who is 23 years her senior, while at the gym.
After returning home she cooked up some food and spent time with her stepson, Marcus.
The video drew in many viewers, with some criticizing the clear age difference.
“Can’t just be me who thinks the age gap is f**ked,” one wrote.
In yet another video, she talked more about her day-to-day lifestyle.
She filmed herself getting her nails done, cooking up a storm, and spending time with with her loved ones.
“We sat in, watched a movie and had a hot chocolate,” she said, by the end of the day.
More viewers weighed in on the romance, with some describing it as “weird.”
“Hi, I have recently followed you. Your step kids are so fun and pretty and you’re so pretty, too. Do you find it weird that your step kid is 15 and you’re 20?” one wrote.
“I’m in a relationship with a 20-year age gap and I’m also a 20-year-old step mom. So nice to find someone the same,” another added.
