The Traitors fans left open-mouthed at ‘most awkward scene ever’ after shock backstabbing twist
THE Traitors fans were left open-mouthed as they watched the show’s most awkward scene ever.
Fans were left gobsmacked at the BBC One show when it was revealed that Ash would be remaining on the show despite her fellow Traitors attempting to banish her from the castle during the show’s first week.
It meant that Ash was able to confront her fellow Traitors – including Paul and Harry – about their attempts to axe her from the game and ‘backstab’ her.
The tension was palpable as Ash shot daggers at her co-stars after the shocking twist.
With Brian axed, Ash was left whispering to Harry that she would ‘talk to him later’ as a result of the betrayal.
Fans on X – formerly Twitter – were left on tenterhooks as it led to the most brutally awkward scene ever.
As night fell, Ash and her co-stars donned their cloaks as they headed to the turret to discuss what had happened.
Once inside, the four removed their hoods as Ash stared them out in an excruciating scene.
She then said to them: “I’m f***ing p***ed off actually.”
Remarking on the moment online, one fan penned: “Well this is awkward lmao.”
Another added: “Lmao… how awkward is it in The Traitors tower.”
A third then wrote: “This is about to get really awkward for The Traitors.”
As a fourth went onto say: “The other traitors voting to banish Ash, and then sending her to a dungeon when she survives. That woman is having a nightmare 24 hours and I’m living for it.”
Before a fifth said of the shocking scenario: “Omg the tension when the Traitors got together tonight! Ash stays!”
During the show, it was finally revealed after an epic five day cliffhanger that Ash had survived after brian was eliminated.
The room gasped as the show’s host Claudia Winkleman ordered Brian out of the Round Table room at Ardross Castle in Scotland.
Once outside, Brian said: “I don’t take anything personal and am gutted to be voted out for who I am. I’m a Faithful.”
It therefore meant that Harry and Paul’s attempt to banish Ash had backfired spectacularly.
