Haley, DeSantis face off in CNN debate as Trump takes Fox News town hall in Iowa: Live updates

GOP rivals Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and former President Trump are set to compete in head-to-head campaign events Wednesday with less than a week before voting begins in the Hawkeye State.

Haley and DeSantis will take part in CNN's debate at the same time that Trump is holding a town hall with Fox News. Both events will air at 9 p.m. ET from Des Moines.

CNN's debate offers one of the last chances for Haley and DeSantis to carve out a second-place lead ahead of Iowa. Polls show the two virtually neck-and-neck in the state, with Trump maintaining a commanding lead over the field.
