'He'll do it again': Conservative group runs ad about Jan. 6 during Trump's town hall
A 30-second incendiary anti-Trump ad ran on Fox News during the former president's town hall.
Its aim was to rankle the Republican race days before the Iowa Caucuses.
Republican Accountability's Sarah Longwell gloated on Twitter/X. The group wrote, "We just ran this ad during Trump's Fox News Townhall." To which Longwell replied about the "hate mail" from the spot.
In the video is a cluster of Jan. 6 clashes at the Capitol where a sea of MAGA faithful battle police in full riot gear in an effort to halt the certification of the election to then President-Elect Joe Biden.
"TRUMP TOLD THEM TO FIGHT," reads the title in white capitalized lettering.
Echoing throughout are Trump's actual words from that deadly day.
"We fight like hell," he said, as rioters swarm the edifice and battle the police.

Sen. Minority Leader (Then Senate Majority Leader) Mitch McConnell delivers a speech a month after the assault, "Pres. Trump is responsible for provoking the events of the day."
Again Trump chimes in from that day: "We will never concede; you don't concede when there is theft involved."
Then Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Jan. 7 expresses humility. "The president's language and rhetoric crossed the line and it was reckless."
Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) also gives a sobering account, saying, "This is the cost of telling thousands of people that there is a legitimate shot of overturning the election."
The titles return with a stark warning: "TRUMP DID THIS. HE'LL DO IT AGAIN... HE CAN NEVER BE PRESIDENT AGAIN."
