Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that 100 chartered planes will land in Ayodhya on January 22 for the 'Pran Partishtha' ceremony of the Ram Mandir. The Ayodhya airport, inaugurated on December 30, will showcase its potential with this event. The first tri-weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya were launched by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Union Minister VK Singh.
