I cleared the shelves when I went to the Nike outlet shop and could barely carry my haul – but it’ll make me a fortune
A MAN who cleared the shelves when he went to the Nike outlet store has insisted the haul will make him a fortune.
Sam visited the shop at Braintree Village in Essex, and took to Instagram to document the trip.
“I went to the Nike outlet and cashed out,” he said.
“This was the aftermath.
“They had royal blue Nike Miler 1.0 T-shirts, as well as the grey ones.
“They had these dunk lows, which were over 60 per cent off retail price, and then I found a bunch of these Billie Eilish Air Forces, which were also over 60 per cent off.”
Showing himself toting a huge bag of goods when leaving the store, Scott added: “You know I never leave empty-handed – over £400 profit from today’s trip!”
“Is your Nike outlet this good?” he captioned the Reel.
But people in the comments section weren’t convinced.
“There’s a reason why it’s on the outlet as it’s all a load of crap people don’t want,” one insisted.
“Those T-shirts are legit the worst thing I’ve ever seen!” another wrote.
“Who’s wearing that?”
“There’s no resale in anything you showed,” a third commented.
“There’s a reason they’re at the outlet no other f**ker would buy them,” someone else commented.
“Talk about buying for the sake of it. It’s all s**te,” another wrote.
As someone else said: “I don’t agree with the outlet shopping & selling on tbh.
“High end Designer fair enough but not Nike. For 1, you are one of those p**cks that holds a spot at the till for 2 hours stressing all the staff out with your 38 pairs of shoes.
“Also it’s outlet store where things are sold at outlet price, you genuinely take away from the people who can’t afford to shop at JD etc so you can make a profit…”
And others said that Sam is pre-empting the fact he’s made a “profit” on the goods.
“You’ve made no profit, not until you sell it,” one insisted.
“By ‘cash out’ do you mean ‘bought some things from a Nike outlet’?” another asked.
“You didn’t ‘cash out’!”
“Profits only calculated after sale,” a third said.
However, there were some people in the comments section who defended Sam and his profit-making pursuits.
“Keep doing your thing bro,” one wrote.
“Fair play, keep selling!”
“Ignore the haters, you keep doing you lad,” another added.
