Charlotte Crosby takes another swipe at Geordie Shore co-stars after lashing out her ex-pals in explosive row over exit
CHARLOTTE Crosby has taken yet another swipe at her Geordie Shore co-stars.
The mum of one yesterday lashed out at her former friends following an explosive row.
The star, who first appeared on the show in 2011, pulled out of the show last summer while filming abroad.
Charlotte said she’s “hurt” after hearing what her co-stars said “behind her back” – and “can’t seem to shake it off”.
But after gaining some perspective, she posted a video of herself cuddling her daughter Alba on holiday and wrote: “And then I remember this is my life”.
She was then bombarded with support from fans backing her against the other Geordie Shore stars.
Trouble kicked off on the trip as the cast reunited on a holiday with their families.
The new mum – who was joined by fiancé Jake Ankers and their newborn Alba – exited after a heated dispute with co-star Marnie Simpson about a highchair.
Charlotte, 33, has admitted that she was going through a tough time when the row escalated, and she felt compelled to “defend” herself after seeing her co-stars’ comments on the conflict.
She shared on Instagram yesterday: “I haven’t had a chance to watch the new eps of Geordie Shore, but I don’t think I will.
“I really was quite clueless as to conversations that were being had behind my back by “Friends”.
“Last year whilst filming was going on, I had just had a baby, lost my beloved nana and was trying to be by my mam’s side during her cancer diagnosis.
“I know many of you are already fully aware of the roller coaster of emotions we went through as a family that year, so I feel a little saddened I have to bring this up in a bid to try and defend myself.
“I was hoping to be really strong when the show aired and try to brush it off like I wasn’t bothered, but I am hurt and I can’t quite seem to shake it off.
“Life is too short to argue though. I’m going to count my blessings, value my loved ones and move on with my head held high. Love you all lots.”
Earlier this week, the Geordie Shore legend was missing as the cast gathered to take part in interviews and a photoshoot to promote the new series.
She now says she’s refusing to watch the show.
Marnie later acknowledged a possibility of reconciliation but stated she wouldn’t be the one to initiate contact.
She told The Sun: “I think it’s a shame because the memories what we got, it’s a shame that we’ve lost the friendship but it is what it is.
“It doesn’t get us down, I’m not losing any sleep over it.
“I’m just focusing on the positive this year, I don’t want to focus on any negatives.
“I want to surround myself with people who uplift me and make me feel good and who want the best for us.”
