Wolves Face German And Italian Competition In Pursuit Of Midfielder
Wolves are set to face competition from clubs in Germany and Italy in their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Noah Lemina.
The young midfielder joined Sampdoria in Serie B last season but has struggled to get regular game time at the club.
PSG are keen to cut short his loan stay at Sampdoria and are looking to loan him out to a different club in the ongoing transfer window.
Wolves have emerged as one of his potential destinations and the club are in talks with PSG for the signature of the teenage midfielder.
But according to French sports daily L’Equipe, Wolves are not alone in the race to sign the 18-year-old this month.
It has been claimed that unnamed clubs in Germany and Italy are also pushing to sign the youngster in the ongoing window.
Lemina’s lack of game time at Sampdoria has not discouraged clubs from wanting to get their hands on him.
Wolves are hopeful that the presence of his elder brother, Mario Lemina, should convince Noah to move to Molineux in the coming days and weeks.
