Hull City cannot afford to sign Spezia goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski, however Leeds United may make a move for the custodian as they are keen.
The Poland international shot-stopper is on the books at Italian outfit Spezia, who currently ply their trade in Serie B after being relegated from Serie A.
Dragowski though may not be at Spezia for too much longer, with clubs showing interest in securing his services.
Hull City have been keen to bring the Pole to England, but according to German outlet Fussball Transfers, his salary of €1m net per year is too much for the Tigers.
However, the story is different for another Championship side in the shape of Leeds.
Leeds are also interested in Dragowski and would be able to afford his wage demands.
Any move though is likely to be dependent upon selling Illan Meslier.
It had been thought that Meslier would leave Leeds in last summer’s transfer window and the club landed Karl Darlow in anticipation.
Meslier stayed put though and is established as the first choice goalkeeper at Elland Road.
Should the Frenchman go, Leeds could make a move to land Dragowski.
The goalkeeper, 26, has made 14 appearances for Spezia so far this season, keeping three clean sheets.
