The Traitors fans left furious as BBC schedule shake-up ‘ruins their week’
FANS of The Traitors have moaned that their weeks are ruined after a scheduling shake up with the programme.
When the reality show kicked off last week on Thursday January 4, the first three episodes were available to stream immediately on BBC iPlayer.
This meant that although some people waited for the episodes to air on telly, others were able to binge watch them consecutively.
From now on future installments of The Traitors will not be available on iPlayer until they have been broadcast live.
Instead they will be airing between Wednesday and Friday nights weekly.
Some avid viewers were left unhappy that they have to wait and watch each episode as it comes out.
They took to social media to complain, with one person wailing: “Nooo why aren’t the next 2 episodes of the traitors on iPlayer boooo!”
Another hit out: “I’m on nights tomorrow & Friday so i can’t watch The Traitors live and now iPlayer aren’t uploading the next eps anymore wtfffffff!”
A third exclaimed: “Why can’t I watch more of the traitors on BBC iPlayer wtf i’m going to butt my head off a wall I need to seeee!”
However, other people thought it was a good idea that everyone in the UK would be forced to watch the show at the same time.
One wrote: “I don’t care about scripted dramas, but game shows should always air nightly to avoid people being d**ks about spoiling.”
A second agreed: “Linear TV is so important and a great way to bring the nation together.”
