Rohit Sharma FUMES at Shubman Gill After Getting Runout; Watch Viral VIDEO
Mohali: India captain Rohit Sharma was fuming after he was unfortunately runout during the opening T20I at Mohali on Thursday against Afghanistan. Chasing 159 to win, Rohit wanted to get the side off to a flyer, but his stay was cut short. Rohit perished for a duck. The Indian captain danced down the track and hit the ball to mid-off.
Rohit took off without realising that Shubman Gill at the non-striker’s end was ball-watching. Eventually, Rohit found himself stranded at the same end and was runout. It was Ibrahim Zadran with a big dive at mid-off, he stopped the ball and threw it to the wicketkeeper, who whipped the bails.
Without a doubt, Gill forgot the basics or had a moment of brainfade. While walking back, Rohit gave Gill a piece of his mind. Here is the clip:

Spotlight was on Rohit today as he was making a comeback into the T20I side. He was expected to get among the runs as that would have given him a lot of confidence ahead of the T20 World Cup later in the year. After India lost in the final of the ODI World Cup, Rohit has expressed his desire to feature in the T20 WC. As per reports, he has informed his decision to the Indian board about his willingness to play the marquee event.
There are two more games left in the series and he would like to make the most of them. He could be a key figure for India at the marquee event.
As we speak, India has lost another wicket and that off Gill. The young opener was stumped and now the hosts are 31 for two in five overs. Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube are in the middle trying to get the chase back on track.
