Parliament's Budget Session is expected to commence from January 31 and will continue till February 9, 2024. The interim Budget for 2024-25 will be presented on February 1, 2024, by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The term of the 17th Lok Sabha ends on June 16. In 2019, the Lok Sabha polls were announced on March 10 and voting was held in seven phases between April 11 and May 19.
