The Election Commission of India (ECI) has commenced a two-day conference in New Delhi to prepare the countrywide electoral machinery for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Chief electoral officers (CEO) from all states and Union territories are attending the conference. The conference is discussing various aspects of the 2024 general elections, including election planning, expenditure monitoring, electoral roll, IT applications, data management, EVM/VVPAT, SVEEP strategy, and media and communication.
