I found a Dior blush dupe at Dollar Tree, it’s more pigmented than the real deal and is only $1.25
MAKEUP fans have rallied around a Dollar Tree blush that they say trumps a $40 name-brand version.
A beauty influencer put the blush to the test, revealing that she preferred the $1.25 beauty dupe because it performed better.
Alyssa (@_alyssa_lorraine_) shared the product review with over 160,000 TikTok followers.
She explained she had stumbled across what she believed to be a dupe for Dior’s popular Rosy Glow blush, $40, at Dollar Tree.
Over a year later, Alyssa followed up that L.A. Color’s blush in Sweet Cheeks ended up being her most used blush of 2023 and that others also were shocked by the beauty deal.
“It’s so buildable, it’s more pigmented than the Dior blush, look how fresh!” she said, showing off the pink flush on her cheeks.
After a bit of research, she discovered that the Dollar Tree blush had grown in popularity since she discovered it and that many influencers like herself raved about its performance.
More impressively, due to its intense color payoff, the blush was more inclusive and appealed to a larger demographic.
“I also saw creators with all different skin tones trying this pink color and look at the pigment!” she said, sharing videos of the blush on different influencers.
There seemed to be a consensus among influencers that the dollar blush was an improved version of the Dior blush.
“She also agrees it’s like a Dior dupe but more pigmented,” Alyssa said, pulling up a photo of another beauty influencer.
“This is just a magic blush, it works on everyone,” she said.
Those who tried agreed that the blush was surprisingly flattering: “It’s still that girl,” said one fan.
Some couldn’t wrap their minds around the affordable price tag: “Still can’t believe this is $1,” said another.
