Emily Atack shows off blossoming baby bump as she poses in black crop top
EMILY Atack has revealed her growing baby bump in a pair of sophisticated snaps posted to Instagram.
The Inbetweeners actress, 34, is expecting her first child with scientist Dr Alistair Garner, with their happy news announced earlier this month.
The Sun then reported how her baby-daddy is in fact her step-cousin, who has been a part of her family for 30 years.
Now Emily has captured her growing tummy as she heads towards her due date with a series of snaps showing her sporting a black sports bra in leggings.
She was seen posing side-profile to showcase her new curves while she placed a hand tenderly at the bottom of her bump.
The stand-up comedienne flashed a pout for her mirror selfies, taken in a cosy white-walled room.
Leaving her blonde hair in a flicked blow dry and half-up do, Emily accessorised with red lipstick, a fresh pink manicure and silver rings.
She failed to add a caption to the pictures posted to her Instagram Stories – instead letting her fans do the talking.
It was previously revealed how the TV star is already five months pregnant.
She has only been pictured publicly with Dr Alistair on one occasion – in September of last year – and has shared very little details about the romance.
The Sun previously revealed that Alistair is the son of her late uncle – Dr Stephen Garner – who married Emily’s aunt Jane Robbins in 1994.
An insider said: “Emily and Alistair consider themselves more family friends but they are cousins who aren’t related by blood.
“They grew up together and have always got on really well, but last year they started to get closer.
“It has been a really natural evolution of their friendship and they both have strong feelings for each other.
“Emily and Alistair were thrilled when they found out they were expecting and are really looking forward to becoming parents.
“Their respective families are totally supportive and have told them they think they’re a lovely couple.
“It is a really exciting time for them.”
Alistair works as a nuclear scientist.
He describes himself on his Linkedin as a Materials scientist and electron microscopist specialising in nuclear and aerospace applications.
Meanwhile, just after her baby news came to light, the telly favourite was cruelly mum-shamed.
