25 of Julia Fox's most daring looks, from barely there gowns to an outfit made from condoms

At the time, Fox was a relatively unknown model, photographer, and fashion entrepreneur.

To attend a Marc Jacobs event in 2015, the future muse to Kanye "Ye" West wore a matching silver skirt and bandeau set with a belt fastened around her midsection. 

Fox would later talk about how, after she began dating West, she packed up her old clothes into boxes "a couple days" after meeting him.

She paired the look with a red lip and simple black high heels. "Uncut Gems" was Fox's first major film role and would launch her to stardom. 

The look, designed by Alexander Wang, featured a black overskirt that matched Fox's black undergarments. 

Black would later become a staple in Fox's wardrobe, but she told Interview Magazine she threw out her entire closet when she started dating Ye.

"It was so cathartic," she said in January 2022. "It wasn't like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life."

"I was like making that very conscious decision to really put everything in the box," she added. "To let go of the past."

Kim Kardashian wore a near-identical version of the dress in 2019, which many were quick to point out after Fox began dating Kanye "Ye" West, Kardashian's estranged husband, in January 2022. 

Fox called the comparisons between her style and Kim's "unfortunate," saying, "we've worn similar looks, which I knew at the time of wearing them."

"I knew Kim had worn it previously," Fox said on the podcast "Call Her Daddy," hosted by Alexandra Cooper. "If anything, I think the conversation should be like 'Wow, it's amazing to see how heavily influenced Kim was by Kanye.'"

She matched her then-boyfriend Kanye West, who wore a coordinating denim Balenciaga outfit.

In a blog post for Interview Magazine published on January 6, Fox shared how she and Ye met in Miami on New Year's Eve and began dating. They later met up for dinner at Carbone in New York City and he filled a hotel room with clothes for her to wear.

"It was every girl's dream come true," she said. "It felt like a real Cinderella moment."

She wore a patent-leather corset dress, black leather leggings, and thigh-high leather boots, all designed by Schiaparelli. She paired the look with large gold earrings and her signature bold eyeliner.

Fox and Ye reportedly called their relationship quits in mid-February 2022 after the "Famous" rapper made a series of later-deleted social media posts asking for Kim Kardashian to come back to him and he had a truck full of roses delivered to her house on Valentine's Day.

She paired the look with a floor-length leather coat and black knee-high boots.

She paired the look with a red top, suede boots, and an oversized leather coat.

Her pants featured a G-string detail and her top had an asymmetric cutout. 

She was spotted in the chic look while out in New York City.

She wore a silver slip dress by Lanvin, a black turtleneck, and black latex thigh-high stiletto boots. The Catwoman-esque look was topped off with a long black latex trench coat.

The one-shoulder dress, which the star wore to the Film Independent Spirit Awards, featured a large cutout at her hip. She accessorized the look with minimal jewelry and her signature black eye makeup.

Fox, who wore the outfit in Los Angeles in March 2022, told her fans how to make the outfit in an Instagram video tutorial.

"It makes for a really cute set and it's easy and honestly now that latex is kinda played out, denim, you're all I have left," the actress wrote.

She also paired the look with a pair of denim Alexander Wang boots.

She gave another tutorial on Instagram on how she made her look, calling the ensemble, "super cheap, affordable, cute, chic — what more can you ask for?"

She paired the dress, which was designed by Han Kjøbenhavn, with a pair of leather elbow-length gloves and a purse covered in what Fox believed to be human hair. Fox responded to a reporter's comment about whether her dress would spark conversation after Will Smith and Chris Rock's physical altercation at the awards ceremony.

"Oh my god, I'm going to get roasted for this tomorrow," Fox jokingly told red carpet co-host Catt Sadler, according to Vanity Fair. "The comments are going to be ridiculous. But, you know what, I'm having fun and that's all that matters."

The sheer plastic dress was interestingly adorned with metallic rings. To match her homemade cellophane boots, Fox also wrapped her clutch in plastic wrap about an hour before the event.

The gown, which featured a halter neckline and statement cape sleeves, featured a psychedelic design that made Fox look like a walking optical illusion. 

Though the dress featured a high neckline and a long draping skirt, it still left little to the imagination. Fox paired the bold cut-out dress with a black bra and matching underwear with floral embellishments on each side. The back of the dress was also completely open. 

"This is a love letter to getting older. Yeah, so we're embracing getting older," Fox told The Cut of the inspiration behind her gray hairstyle for the event. 

She paired the out-there look with a pair of leather briefs, an ultra-cropped black jacket, and a large heart-shaped fur bag.

The monochromatic look was subdued by Fox's standards. She paired the ensemble with an oversized brown suede blazer and leather heels.

The skirt appeared to feature the image of a clown. She paired the look with white fur-covered shoes.

The actress' top, which appeared to be made from condoms, was completely see-through, as were her matching over-the-knee boots, yellow latex gloves, and handbag. She paired the eye-catching look with a simple white miniskirt. 

The star wore a pair of Diesel boxer briefs, furry shoes, an oversized brown blazer, and a white T-shirt with the phrase "High Class White Trash" printed on the front.

Fox brought her eye-catching style into the new year by wearing a wedding-inspired ensemble on January 11 in New York City. She spored a white turtleneck-style wedding dress with a matching veil, lace gloves, and a micro purse. The "Down the Drain" author completed the look with a black thong. 

Vogue reported that Fancì Club designed the ensemble.
