Born to Prabhabati and Janakinath Bose, Netaji was inspired by Swami Vivekananda's teachings. Netaji had vision and tenacity, which helped him create the Azad Hind Fauj, a military group tasked with overthrowing British rule in India. Acknowledging the efficacy of women's empowerment, he also formed the Rani Jhansi Regiment, especially for brave women fighters who stood up against the tyrant British Raj. Interestingly, Mahatma Gandhi was initially given the honorific title of "Father of the Nation" by Netaji.
