Two arrested in Queensbury on grand larceny charges
QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested in Queensbury following a larceny investigation, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Mindee Burke, 45, of Rutland, and Desmond James, 43, of New York City, are both facing charges.
On January 21 at 5 p.m., police responded to the Aviation Mall Target in Queensbury following the report of an active larceny. Upon arrival, officers located the reported suspect vehicle as it was trying to exit the parking lot.
The driver and the passenger, identified as Burke and James, were informed by officers of the complaint against them. When asked to step out of the car, Burke and James reportedly drove off, leading to a pursuit with police.
During the chase, police say Burke allegedly struck another vehicle and tried to hit a patrol car before the pursuit came to ended on Greenway Road in South Glens Falls. Burke and James were taken into custody and now face the following charges:

Burke and James were both held in police lockup before being arraigned on Monday.
