I’m a gypsy & born homemaker – folk say they’re happy to see a woman in the kitchen but I don’t take it as an insult
A GYPSY woman has hit back at trolls trying to insult her for spending her days cleaning her home.
Suzy, a mum of one living in the UK, took to social media to show off her sparkling clean home – claiming she wasn’t insulted by the comment.
Responding to one troll who wrote: “Nice to see a woman in (the) kitchen where they belong.”
Suzy revealed that despite many people taking it as an insult – she didn’t as she loved being a homemaker.
In the clip, she said: “Now, I know you meant this comment as a bit of an insult but for us, it’s not an insult.
“I would rather somebody comment and say ‘nice to see a woman in the kitchen where she belongs,’ knowing that my home is absolutely spotless.”
Suzy said she would much prefer being in the kitchen making herself busy that lounging around all day.
“My home is spotless, I take pride in everything that I own, where I live and it’s very important for me that my home stays like this.”
“At least you didn’t insult me for being dirty, thanks.”
Previously Suzy has shared how she keeps her home from falling into disarray with her strict house rules for guests and her family.
On her list of no-go’s were pets.
She explained: “I just couldn’t deal with dog hair and all that kind of carry on, I just couldn’t.”
The mum continued: “You need to wash your hands before coming into my kitchen, ok?
“If someone comes here and asks for a cup of tea, you wash your hands before you make a cup of tea.
“I wash my hands before I touch my kitchen. If you don’t wash your hands, don’t go anywhere near it.”
Her hands off approach also continues to her ornament collection, which is on display around her home.
She revealed to her almost 200k TikTok followers: “My other thing is that you don’t touch my stuff.
“This might sound a bit mad to you lot, but you don’t touch my ornaments.
“Don’t come in and pick my stuff up, don’t start looking at my plates, don’t start looking at my animals, don’t start looking at my china.
“Don’t just pick it up. It’s not to be picked up and played about with.
“Everything I own is well looked after, and I like to keep it that way.”
The clip posted to Suzy’s TikTok account @cuzinsuzy92 has since gone viral with over 23k views and 1,600 likes.
People were quick to agree with her in the comments and said they loved watching her clean the home.
One person wrote: “It makes me happy and I relax doing it so yea we want to clean our homes.”
Another commented: “Looks fab. Love it looks so clean.”
“Honestly daily cleaning keeps my mind at peace, not an insult at all,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Spot on.”
Someone else added: “Your house is absolutely stunning!”
