I got drunk and decided to pull my own tooth out – when I show people the aftermath, I realise it wasn’t the best idea
FROM falling down stairs to snogging an ex, we’ve all had some regretful drunken antics that we’d rather forget about – and quick.
But one woman is struggling to leave her drunken mistake in the past…because it was so traumatic, it left her in A&E.
The 28-year-old told how two years ago she started experiencing issues with a painful tooth.
However, rather than seeking out the advice of a professional, she decided that, after a bit of dutch courage, she’d tackle the problem herself.
In a clip posted to TikTok (@lala196822), she shared a snap of her face after carrying out the DIY procedure – and the right-hand side appears to have almost doubled in size.
As a reminder to herself, she penned: “Don’t pull out your own tooth babe.”
In a second snap, her eye seems so swollen that she can barely open it properly.
“Straight to A&E,” she commented.
In response to one intrigued social media user who asked “what happened,” Lala replied: “When I was drunk, I pulled out my tooth and it got infected.
“I clearly wasn’t thinking.
“This was 2 years ago, was in a lot of pain for a while but I recovered.”
Alongside the post, she penned: “I woke up like this…”followed by the crying face.
It wasn’t long before the post went viral, garnering a whopping 75k views and several comments from horrified social media users.
“Looks like you nearly lost your eye too,” wrote one.
Lala explained: “The infection caused a lot of swelling near my eye, so it had to be drained.”
A second commented: “Ooh, sounds really painful!”
A third penned: “Ouch!”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “Omg – hope you’re okay now.”
And another added: “OMG you’re mad. That’ll hurt for a month.”
It’s not the first time social media users have rushed online to share their tooth fails – with one woman recalling how she jetted to Mexico for veneers, only for three to fall out within a month.
Analiza, who travelled from Texas, US, to Mexico, to get composite veneers, explained: “So this is an update on my teeth and it’s not good.
“I’ve only had them for a month and a couple of days and I’ve already lost three.
“My fiance hasn’t lost any, he hasn’t had any problems with his, I don’t know why mine are just popping off.
“I might just pop off the bottom and just leave the top, because look, look at that s**t.
“The good thing about it is that if I want to remove them, I can, because my teeth aren’t shaved down.”
