I got my baby’s ears pierced – she screamed but it was worth it, sometimes being a mum hurts
A MUM who got her tiny baby’s ears pierced has caused a stir on the internet.
The woman – who goes by – @queennn_cee on TikTok – shared a clip of her experience captioned: “sometimes being a mum hurts.”
The video shows a baby dressed in a pink outfit sitting on a man’s knee as a piercer holds a piercing tool to her ear.
Text across the screen reveals the tot is only two months old.
The piercing is then done and the baby screams in pain as more text says: “my heart hurts.”
And this was only half the battle as then the piercer moves around to the next ear – prompting the same response from the crying child.
The mum finishes the video by revealing it was “worth the pain my little queen.”
The video has sparked controversy in the comments section as some viewers expressed fury at the baby having her ears pierced so young, while others came to the defence of the mum.
One person expressed their thoughts saying: “That is so so messed up to do that to a little newborn baby.”
And another agreed writing: “Too young to do that!”
But a third didn’t see a problem and said: “Y’all it’s not messed up I got mine pierced at 2 months old too and I’m so glad for it.”
And a fourth agreed, “Ya’ll actin like its giving her fatal injuries babies cry all the time, as long as its not constantly hurting her, i see no problem,” they wrote.
It comes as a mum-of-two sparked controversy by revealing the things she does as a parent “which some people probably hate”.
Meg is mother to daughters Lola and Gabriella, and took to TikTok to explain the “rules” she’s adopted since starting a family.
She kicked off with: “If we aren’t leaving the house, I just leave them in pyjamas.”
Next, she wrote: “I don’t bath them every day. They have a wash every day but not bathed as it dries their skin.”
Third up was another debate-sparking declaration, as she said: “I don’t make them drink water, squash is fine.”
She also takes Lola out of nursery if the family are doing anything or going away, as she thinks it’s important she “get to explore”.
