Netflix fans gripped by ’12/10′ action movie with explosive fight scenes – gushing ‘it’s got everything!’
NETFLIX fans have praised an ‘intense’ new action-packed German movie, urging others to watch it as soon as possible.
60 Minutes has gained massive popularity since it was released on the streaming platform on January 19.
The movie title refers to the tight 60-minute deadline that the protagonist- MMA fighter Octavio played by German actor Emilio Sakraya – has to meet so that he can see his little girl.
The Netflix film, set in Germany, also left viewers feeling ‘very emotional’ as they watched him race across Berlin to make it in time for his daughter’s birthday party.
Unfortunately for gym owner Octavio, a crucial fight coincides with his seven-year-old daughter’s birthday.
A race against times ensues when his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child warns him that if he doesn’t turn up to her party, she will file for sole custody, and he will never see her again.
The synopsis for 60 Minutes reads: “Desperate not to lose custody, a mixed martial arts fighter makes dangerous enemies when he ditches a matchup to race to his daughter’s birthday party.”
After watching the film, fans were moved by Octavio’s dedication to his daughter and took to X(Twitter) to express their thoughts.
One impressed viewer wrote: “60 Minutes on Netflix is stellar. Great everything – tight, focused, intense, visceral action movie that’s relatable, has all the tension, and will make you cry.
