I’m 61 and have crinkles and wrinkles on my face – I swear by an $18 primer and a $17 holy grail to smooth them out
AGING is inevitable but that doesn’t mean you can’t take steps to smooth out your wrinkles in the meantime.
A 61-year-old woman has shared the makeup products she swears by for giving her a youthful complexion.
In her video, Kaldonia Casey (@kalondiacasey) showed her followers what her natural skin looks like.
“I’m 61 years old, I do not have on any makeup, I do not have a filter on, and so I have a lot of texture on my face,” the TikToker said.
“I’m going to have the little crinkles and wrinkles, the elevens, the marionette lines, it is what it is.”
Kaldonia revealed the products she uses to make sure her “makeup looks good all day long.”
For her first recommendation, she showed her viewers the $16 Farmasi VFX Pro Camera Ready Primer, which is available on Amazon.
“I’m going into these wrinkly, crinkly areas with this one because it doesn’t have illumination in it so it’s not going to be pronounced,” Kaldonia explained.
She also layered on the $29 Farmasi VFX Pro Camera Ready Strobe Primer.
“Then I’m taking the strobe primers, which does have illumination, and I’m putting it right here on my cheeks to just give those light filtering properties that we need as we mature,” she said.
For her final tip, Kaldonia recommended using the $17 Farmasi CC Cream.
“This is my holy grail, it is something I go to and reach for almost every single day,” she told her audience.
Kaldonia added a thin layer of the product to her cheeks and her chin.
“I’m just going to apply just a little bit so let me blend that in, look how smooth that looks, it’s so pretty,” she said.
“Then what I do is I go back and I just tap in the area that has a little bit more wrinkles and crinkles, that helps to just set the makeup.”
She pointed out how the beauty product “looks beautiful on the skin.”
“That is my tip and trick for getting makeup to stay where you put it and for it not to settle into those fine lines and wrinkles,” Kaldonia concluded.
