I did not sign up for this,’ sighs homeowner struggling to remove snow from driveway after making 3 seasonal mistakes
A TIKTOKER from the South was unprepared for the snow that hit her state in January.
She was not expecting so much of it and to be so cold so she made do with what she had.
“I live in the south, of course, this is the most snow I have ever seen in my life,” TikToker Rylee (@awkwardrylee) said in her video while standing outside in the snow.
The video continued on the same way as she stated she was from the south and proceeded to explain how she wasn’t prepped for snowfall.
“I live in the south, of course, I’m trying to get the snow off my driveway with a rake because why would I have a snow shovel,” she said.
“I live in the south, of course, I forgot to cover my pants and now they’re all dead,” Rylee said as she pointed at her plant pots piled high with snow.
“I’m from the south, of course, the only warm pants I own are from a a college sorority event,” she humored.
There is no other reason she would have long pants while living in Nashville and Greek life is popular in the southern states.
She concluded the video with annoyance about the weather.
“I’m from the south, I did not sign up for this.”
On January 15 and 16, about 7.6 inches of snow fell on Nashville, reported Fox Weather.
The amount of snow broke the snowfall record for January 15.
The U.S. Sun previously reported on five tips that would keep you safe while you drive in the snow.
Sonia Hobbs, group marketing director at motor retailer Harwood’s Group, said to first check your car’s tire pressure because they can deflate in cold weather.
While checking those, she advised to also make sure your battery can handle the cold weather.
Her second recommendation was to invest in socks.
“No, these aren’t for your feet – they’re for your tires.
“Snow socks are a great, much easier-to-install alternative to clunky chains and winter tires – they provide traction on snow and ice, making driving in the snow safer and easier.”
The sock can help your car tire have extra grip.
The other three tips included buying new windshield wipers, going slow on the roads, and packing your car with essentials.
