I hired a hot nanny who looks like a Victoria’s Secret model – people don’t get why I’m not scared my husband will cheat
A MUM has hit back at people warning her that she has tempted fate by hiring a “Victoria’s Secret supermodel-looking” 21-year-old to be her nanny.
Katie enlisted the help of Swedish blonde Elsa to help look after her sons, as a live-in au pair.
But her decision to invite the statuesque stunner into her home was slammed by some, one of whom insisted: “The girl that she hired is an 11.
“She’s a super hot, Victoria’s Secret supermodel-looking 21-year-old with a golden tan.
“And the mum on the other hand is an average American pretty.”
Katie then responded to that video as she said: “I am that average American woman who was stupid enough to hire a Victoria’s Secret model to be my nanny.”
She then went on to explain the reasons why she had no qualms hiring Elsa – starting with the fact that she trusts her husband.
“I trust my husband implicitly,” she said.
“We actually have a really secure, amazing relationship. I know it’s hard to believe.”
And the second reason is that she doesn’t “discriminate against people for the way that they look”.
“I know it’s very hard to believe this, because I’m now this undesirable old hag, I get it,” she joked.
“But I used to be a very hot 21-year-old girl also.
“And I dealt with a lot of stigma and a lot of judgement from people like you who thought I wanted to sleep with your man.
“Let’s make something really clear. Just because I was beautiful and 21, does not mean I was sleeping with married men.”
She went on to insist that it’s much more important to her how her nanny is on the inside – her energy and the way she interacts with her kids – rather than what she looks like on the outside.
Katie added in the caption for the video that the presumption that Elsa would want to sleep with her husband is what angers her the most.
“Something about this really rubs me the wrong way and it surprisingly has nothing to do with the connotation that my husband would cheat.
“That literally ruffles zero of my very secure feathers!
“What DOES however bother me is this very much sounds like if the man wants to sleep with her then it’s a done deal as if the young woman in the equation has NO choice.
“Why do all these comments sound like ALL beautiful young women are game for sleeping with a married man ?!?”
People were quick to comment on the clip, with one writing: “I started working as a nanny 11 years ago.
“Not once have I thought that my married employer is the one for me.
“They were handsome but sooooo far from desirable!”
“Did she call you average???? She is giving mean girl energy.. There’s nothing average about you,” another added.
Others agreed, but Katie admitted the comment had got her down as she shared another TikTok of herself in a bikini.
“Me trying to hype myself up after the internet told me my husband is gunna cheat on me and leave me for someone 10 years younger,” she jokingly captioned the video.
However, others in the comments section insisted Katie shouldn’t be so confident about her husband’s fidelity.
“I don’t trust nobody,” one insisted.
“The nanny is for the husband not the kids!” another said.
As a third admitted: “I’ve tried it before – crashed and burned! So count me out.
“Now I hire 40 years & up!”
