I caught my boyfriend cheating through a shared calendar app – he wasn’t ‘playing golf’, he was playing me
A WOMAN has revealed that she discovered that her boyfriend was cheating on her thanks to a shared calendar app.
The young woman revealed that she downloaded the Howbout app after hearing people rave about it on social media.
But after her boyfriend added his plans onto the app, the brunette beauty quickly discovered his deceit.
Posting online, the young woman shared a screenshot of the calendar’s February 2024 itinerary, showing her plans in pink and her partner’s ‘plans’ in purple.
Whilst she was planning on going to yoga and attending a cowgirl party, her ‘cheater’ boyfriend had other plans.
Not only this, but whilst she had penned in an afternoon tea, her boyfriend had claimed to be going on a ‘golf trip’.
In a short clip shared on TikTok, the young woman explained: “I caught my boyfriend cheating on me on a f*****g shared calendar app.
“I wanted to get this shared calendar app with him because I kept seeing it on TikTok and it’s good for planning dates.
“He was like ‘no, I’ve got no storage, I don’t want to share a calendar with you’.
“I was like ‘why? Why are you being so weird about it?’”
But the woman then explained: “After weeks of convincing, he gets on it with me and I see all of these golf plans. I’m like, ‘since when do you play golf?’”
She then claimed: “This man ain’t playing golf. He’s sitting indoors playing PS4.”
The woman then explained that after feeling confused by his love of a new sport, she decided to check his phone to get to the bottom of things.
But unfortunately, her worst nightmare came to life, as she claimed: “This calendar thing planted a seed in my head, and I was like ‘f**k it, I have to go through his phone’.

“I don’t care if you think that’s a bad thing, I went through it.
“I go through this man’s phone whilst he’s sleeping and guess what I see on all of the dates that had the ‘golf’ on it. Let’s take a guess, he was not playing golf, he was playing someone else.
“He was playing me.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted just two days ago, has clearly left many totally shocked, as it has quickly racked up 71,200 views.
Social media users were gutted for the woman and many took to the comments to share their love and support.
One person said: “Girl I’m so sorry, you’re too wonderful to go through this.”
Another added: “What an awful person I’m so sorry.”
A third commented: “Omg it breaks my heart seeing your plans and where golf fits in. I’m so sorry.
“You deserve the world and you will find a partner that will give that.”
