Senior Indian batsman KL Rahul on Monday was declared unfit for the third Test against England due to his incomplete recovery from a quadriceps strain, which had already sidelined him for the second match in Visakhapatnam. It has been revealed that Devdutt Padikkal, the promising left-handed batsman from Karnataka, who has been performing exceptionally well in the first-class season, will step in to replace Rahul in the squad.
