Shop my ‘holy grails’ of drugstore makeup if you want to look expensive – I’m going to be buried in a $7 lipstick
A BEAUTY connoisseur said you don’t have to break the bank to look expensive.
She revealed her favorite drugstore makeup buys that will leave you with a glowing complexion.
Rocio Soria (@rocio.roses) wants to help people “feel beautiful together,” as she states in her TikTok bio.
And to guide those who don’t want to spend too much on makeup, she shared her favorite affordable buys.
“Right here is my holy grail of drugstore makeup,” she began in the clip.
“For the brows, NYX The Brow Glue. You don’t have to spend $100 on brow lamination on this one,” she said, praising the $10 product.
To give her face that dewy complexion, she begins by spreading $10 Elf Power Grip Primer all over and then $10 Elf Putty Primer on the sides of her nose and mouth.
“This is like glue for your makeup.”
Her favorite concealer is one she would pick over and over again “for the rest of [her] life,” she raved.
“Milani Conceal and Perfect Concealer is the hourglass of the drugstore,” she said of the $11 item.
Sticking with Milani, she said the $12 Conceal and Perfect Foundation will “literally have you looking like a baddie.”
To give her face some definition, she uses the $9 Elf Halo Glow Contour Wand, and to tidy up her undereyes she uses Maybelline’s $12 Lasting Fix Powder – which she called “so silky.”
For an extra tanned glow, she uses Essence Matte Bronzing Powder, which only costs $10.
“And this is your sign to start using red blush. The Profusion Liquid Blush in the shade Paloma,” she said, expressing how much she loved her $5 buy.
Moving on to her eyes, she said Milani products are the way to go – the “blackest liquid eyeliner of your life” is one that only costs $12 and “won’t bleed,” and the $8 Lash Extension Mascara is the “only mascara [she’s] been reaching for for the last few months.”
When she wants an extra dazzle on her lashes, she uses the $16 Kiss Bombshell False Lashes.
“Literally stunning.”
And finally, she completed the look with a lip combo “that you will literally bury [her] in” because it’s so good: $9 Milani Lip Liner in the shade Saucy Toffee, $7 Milani Lipstick in the shade Pleasure, and $11 Milani Gloss in the shade Luminoso.
“Drugstore makeup I will forever purchase,” she reiterated in the caption.
Viewers backed her claim.
“The Milani Concealer is no joke. I’ve been using it for four years,” one person wrote.
“Brow Glue stays on top,” added another.
