I’m divorced and live in a ‘mommune’ with other single mothers – we live it up together when the kids are away
WHEN it comes to raising your children, it really can take a village.
One divorced mom proved just this as she shared an insight into her life living in a “mommune.”
In her video, Kristin (@beachykefer) showed her followers what her life is like when her ex-husband takes the children.
The TikToker explained that she has a co-living set-up with other single moms.
She revealed that she and her kids share a home with two other families.
“When it’s your weekend without the kids but you live in a mommune so this is how you spend it,” Kristin said.
She then shared a montage of clips of her and the other single moms while their kids are away with their dads.
The group enjoyed a variety of activities including drinking on boats, having movie nights, home salon days, and dance parties.
“Concerts with the best dates,” Kristin captioned one video of the women dancing in a crowd.
She added that the group “occasionally pushes our comfort zones by doing karaoke.”
“Being a mom is a superpower and living in a house with three moms is super freaking powerful,” she told her viewers.
She went on to praise “all the moms, but especially to the moms in my mommune.”
“You two make my world a better place,” she added.
Kristin’s followers shared their thoughts on the unique living situation in the comments section.
