Controversial ‘donut mum’ shamed for Valentine gifts for her three kids as people say it’s ‘diabetes waiting to happen’
A CONTROVERSIAL mum-of-three has revealed the sugar-filled treats she is giving to her children for Valentine’s Day.
Alexandra Sabol has become known as “donut mum” on social media due to “problematic” videos feeding her two-year-old daughter donuts for breakfast.
One of the 26-year-old’s “plating up” videos has totted up more than 24 million views after sparking fury amongst parents.
And her most recent video, where she revealed the sugar-filled gifts she is gifting her three kids for Valentine’s Day, has roused similar outrage.
“I couldn’t do a whole lot this year,” Alex shared in a TikTok clip. “But I did do a little something, like I do every year for them.”
Her eldest, a boy named Jase who is seven-years-old, will be receiving a plush teddy, Spiderman lollipop hold which comes with two Chupa-Chups, a box of chocolates and a “Krabby Patty lollipop”.
“He’s not a big candy kid, especially chocolate, but I’m sure he’ll eat this,” Alex said.
Her middle child, a four-year-old girl called Brooklyn, is also getting a plush teddy, a “girl Spiderman” lollipop holder with two Chupa-Chups and a “Krabby Patty lollipop”.
Alex is also gifting the tot a box of chocolates that says: “It feels good to be a princess.”
Her youngest child, a little girl named Bells who recently turned two, got the same presents as her older siblings: a plush teddy, a lollipop holder, a “Krabby Patty lollipop” and a box of chocolates.
On top of their individual gifts, Alex’s kids will each be receiving four heart-shaped lollipops from a multi-pack.
“I think they’re gonna absolutely love it and it’s the thought that counts,” she said.
Alex’s sugar-filled hampers have sparked fury online as people accuse the mum of “promoting obesity” and “causing diabetes”.
“I’m really hoping your kids can one day have a healthy life instead of the terribly unhealthy one they currently have,” one critic penned.
“It’s cute but you could do more if you wouldn’t waste money on soda and unhealthy packed foods,” another said.
“That’s diabetes waiting to happen,” a third slammed.
However, Alex has some fans that often rush to her defence amid online controversies.
Her fans slam critics for being “so judgemental” and ask: “So none of you have ever given your kids donuts for breakfast?”
Among the other meals Alex feeds her three kids are lunchables, fried chicken and chips, waffles and fried rice.
