Assam's Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, stated on Monday that while the Registrar General of India (RGI) has yet to officially announce the National Register of Citizens (NRC), discussions are ongoing to assist individuals who couldn't obtain Aadhaar cards due to biometrics being locked during the NRC updating process.
