Slippery roads cause multi-vehicle accident on I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Slippery conditions caused a multi-vehicle crash on I-35 Monday morning.

According to officials, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-35 near SE 44th involving one car and two semi-trucks.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the road was shut down for about two hours but has since reopened.

OHP is reminding drivers to leave extra space between your car and the car in front of you to avoid collisions.
