Gloversville's Food Truck Fridays schedule released

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Gloversville's Food Truck Fridays are returning for 2024. The bi-weekly events will be at Castiglione Park on North Main Street starting May 31.

“We are bringing back the lunch hour event as this summer the city anticipates several construction projects will be underway through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and this means construction crews, in addition to the regular downtown office workers, will be looking for outdoor and quick lunch options,” said Gloversville Downtown Development Specialist Jennifer Donovan. "However, we have heard from several customers who have asked for some night hours so there will be three Food Truck Friday nights in addition to the lunch schedule."

Schedule

• May 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• June 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• June 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• June 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• July 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• July 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• July 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• August 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• August 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• August 23 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There is no charge to participate but proof of a valid Department of Health permit is needed. Interested vendors can email Donovan at JennD@fccrg.org to register for Food Truck Fridays and to submit a copy of the DOH permit. 

Food trucks can participate in as many of the events as they want, said Donovan. Food Truck Fridays is sponsored by the Gloversville Recreation Commission and Fulton County Center for Regional Growth.
