Driver hospitalized after car crashes into Topeka building

TOPEKA (KSNT) – One person was left injured on Monday following a vehicle vs. building crash in Topeka.

Rosie Nichols with the City of Topeka said the Topeka Police Department (TPD) received a call just after noon on Feb. 12 regarding a crash in the 1300 block of SW Polk Street. The initial report was for a vehicle striking a building in the area.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital via ambulance for treatment of minor injuries related to the crash. An investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
