FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Tuesday Evening,
It has been a beautiful and well above normal day today with temps running about 10+ degrees above normal. As most of the snow has melted, we are going to start seeing milder nights as well. Overnight tonight, expect mostly clear skies with a light breeze out of the southeast, with temps a few degrees above normal in the upper 20s.
Wednesday will start off with mostly sunny skies, and temps will quickly jump, as we will see temps already into the lower 50s by lunch time, with afternoon highs in the upper 50s. We will have a breeze during the day, with a few gusts into the afternoon. Clouds will increase late Friday into Friday night.
Temps to start off on Thursday will be near our normal afternoon highs in the lower 40s, but rain will be moving through our area, with a wet and breezy day expected with highs in the middle 50s. Rain showers will continue overnight Thursday night into early Friday morning. We will see a slight drop in temps for Friday with partly sunny skies expected.
Highs on Friday will be in the upper 40s. A secondary frontal passage will drop through Friday overnight, and that will bring cooler temps for the start of the weekend with clearing skies. Highs on Saturday will struggle into the upper 30s to near 40. Winds will shift around Saturday night and pick up on Sunday.
With a mostly sunny day with breezy to gusty conditions expected on Sunday, high temps will push into the mid to upper 50s. A weak boundary will push through Sunday overnight into early Monday with a few showers possible. Monday, warmer temps will return, with highs around 60 under partly cloudy skies.
A warm front will lift north through our area on Tuesday, with rain expected, breezy conditions, and some of the warmest temps of the year in the middle 60s.
