Eight-year-old Ashwath Kaushik from Singapore becomes the youngest player to defeat a grandmaster in classical chess, breaking the record previously held by Milko Popchev. Kaushik is the World Under-Eight Rapid Champion and finished 12th at the Burgdorfer Stadthaus Open.
