Arvind Panagariya, Chairman of the 16th Finance Commission, emphasized that India needs to focus on exports to achieve 10% economic growth. He highlighted the success of open economies like Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and India. Panagariya mentioned that China's growth for three to four decades was fueled by acquiring a significant share of certain products in the global export market.
