Rebecca Hall, actress and filmmaker is joining the cast of Ella McCay, the 20th century latest film by James L. Brooks. Brooks will also be producing besides Richard Sakai, and Julie Ansell, his producing partners, who will be producing via their banner for Gracie Films. The film's executive producer was Seth Meier.
