United Groups gets funds for downtown Troy apartments
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The United Group of Companies received construction financing from Berkshire Bank for the development of City Station North II, LLC. This is a development of multi-family apartments, known as The Six at CityStation, and garage parking, known as The Station.
City Station North is the fourth in a multi-phase development to revitalize downtown Troy. The United Group invested more than $60 million into City Station West, South, and East between 2009 and 2013 for this revitalization and City Station North is the latest expansion.
The development will span 174,599 gross square feet along Congress Street and Sixth Avenue. It will have 87 one and two-bedroom apartments, 40,000 square feet of office space, 154 gated on-site covered and surface parking spaces, and community and building amenities like a rooftop terrace with a fire pit and barbeque grills.
The project's projected completion will be in November of 2025. United Group plans to move its headquarters to City Station North after completion.
