'A Midsummer Night's Dream' to be performed at HVCC

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Members of Shakespeare and Company will be performing "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare at noon on Thursday. It will be at the Maureen Stapleton Theatre on Hudson Valley Community College's Troy campus.

The performance is free and open to the public with no reservation or tickets necessary. It will run for 90 minutes with a 15-minute question-and-answer session afterwards.

Since this performance coincides with winter vacation for most schools, HVCC hopes that school children will be able to attend. It is Shakespeare and Company's goal to “immerse students in the world of Shakespeare and classical theatre in the most active and engaging ways.”
