Towie star Lauren Goodger looks unrecognisable as co-stars celebrate her return
LAUREN Goodger looked unrecognisable as she celebrated her return to Towie with her co-stars.
The reality star announced in December she was returning to the hit show that made her famous – eight years after her departure.
Taking to Instagram, Lauren shared some sweet snaps with show stars Amy Childs and Junaid Ahmed.
The trio appeared in high spirits as they enjoyed an evening at the Funky Monk restaurant in Epping.
Lauren looked stylish in an all-black ensemble, showcasing her pearly white smile as she posed for the pictures.
She captioned the post: “The rumours are true! LG is back baby @towie.”
The 36-year-old has started the year positively, revamping her Instagram, hitting the gym, and rebranding herself as a lifestyle influencer.
After facing a period of challenges, including the loss of her baby daughter Lorena and a breakup with ex Charles Drury, the star is determined to move forward this year.
She told OK! magazine: “I lost nearly three stone after I lost Lorena because of the stress.
“I didn’t eat. I’m now eating again and I’ve put a stone back on because I’m being more healthy.”
She added: “I stayed indoors and I didn’t go out, and now I feel I’m in a better place mentally.
“This year is about focusing on me and getting back on track.”
It will be the first time Lauren is back on Towie in nearly ten years as a cast regular.
She joined in 2010 when she was just 23 but was axed just two years later for alleged diva behaviour behind the scenes.
During her time on the show, the star was involved in several big storylines, from her engagement to Mark Wright, unforgettable friendships, and explosive arguments.
But now Lauren has a different approach and hopes her return can focus on her family life and motherhood.
